This work explores the violence and stereotypes that continue to exist in certain parts of Greece. The project began as a small zine combining short texts drawn from personal experiences of the place where I grew up , Crete, and gradually evolved into a tangible piece: a photograph printed on a wooden plate. The texture of the wood mirrors both the roughness of the island’s mountains and the resilience of its people, shaped through generations of historical struggle.
